Last Updated: 01/22/2021

Inscribe.live is a content service provider. The services we provide are described in more detail on our home page, and our services pages. We are based in Canada.

This privacy policy will describe in detail the personal data collected by Inscribe.live, why we gather that data, and what we do with it. We will explain how and when we share that data, and how we deal with any content you send or upload to us.

In this privacy policy, we use the term ‘personal information’. This is any information that can be used to identify an individual or be connected to a previously identified person.

Please review the remainder of this document carefully. It will help you to develop a clear understanding of our policies and practices as they relate to personal information. This privacy policy applies to our customers, website visitors, and anyone who submits content to us that might contain personal data.

Privacy Policy Updates

It may be necessary for us to update this policy on occasion. Because of this, we encourage you to review this policy whenever you use our website or request services. We publish a ‘last updated’ date at the top of this document. This will let you know if any changes have been made since you last visited this page.

If we make impactful changes to this policy, we may publish a notice of this on our home page, or otherwise inform our regular users of these changes. However, this will be done at our discretion. The only way to be absolutely certain no changes have been made is to review this page.

Customer Provided Information

There are a few different ways in which you might voluntarily share personal information with us.

  1. You may share data as a customer when you submit a project. This process will require that you share information such as your name, company name, email address, location data, phone number, etc. You may also create a customer account with a user id and password. Depending on the services you request, you may also share your business URL and related information.
  2. When you communicate with us, you will generally share your name and contact information. This may be done without your forming a client/customer relationship with us.
  3. If you submit an application to work with us as a staff member or contractor, we will collect and retain any information you provide in your resume or CV. We do request that any of the information you provide is relevant to employment such as work history and education. Please refrain from sharing financial information, height, weight, religion, or political beliefs.
  4. When you provide us with content for any reason, we will collect your personal information to identify you as the provider of that content. This contact information may be used to reach out to you about that content, or to make payment, if that has been agreed upon. However, no unsolicited materials will be eligible for reimbursement.

Information That We Collect

When visitors and customers visit Inscribe.live, there is certain information that we may collect such as IP address or device type. We collect and store this information to improve the services we deliver, analyze website performance, and diagnose technical problems. Further, we collect and retain non-identifying, aggregate data, and usage information. This is for our own analytical purposes. We may share this non-identifying data with third parties at our discretion.

We work with third-party services who use web beacon technologies, images, and scripts that assist them in providing services to us such as website optimization and content management. The information gathered through these means is not identifying and is not tied to any single user’s personal information.

Customer Profiling And Automated Decision Making

We make use of profiling and automated decision making in our management of both contractual and employment relationships. We will also use these to generate answers to customer service inquiries. The basis of these decision-making processes may vary as algorithms are changed or added.

Customer Data Rights

You have certain rights when it comes to the personal information we collect and store:

  • Accessing any information we store about you.

  • Requesting that we immediately fix any inaccuracies in the information we have stored about you.

  • Requiring that we delete any or all of your personal information. This may be done in the event that holding that information is not necessary for us, or in certain instances, where you have withdrawn consent to the processing of your data.

  • Objecting to our use of your information for marketing or profiling purposes.

  • Requesting your information be provided to you in a portable format, or to send your information to another third party. This is limited by our ability to fulfill that request without compromising the data of other customers or visitors.

  • Demanding the restriction of processing your data.

  • Submitting concerns or grievances relating to the handling of your personal information, or the policies that drive those processes.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of any of your information at any time. However, any processing or actions taken prior to that are lawful and in compliance with regulations.

You may contact support at Inscribe.live to exercise any of your rights that are related to our use of your data
